Hello Italy !

Today was an amazing and fun day ! The day started out at 8:15 when we had to wake up . We had not arrived in port yet. We had some time to walk around on the ferry before Breakfast . We all went up on deck and watched Italy appear into view . Breakfast was terrible: a piece of bread , a hard-boiled egg , And one glass of juice . After breakfast we got off of the ship , went through customs then got on the bus for a 4 hour ride to Morano , Italy . After we arrived there we went right to a restaurant for lunch. Guess what it was? Pasta ! It was so good ! After that we watched how cheese was made . I found it to be a long and boring process . You had to heat stale milk , mix it , freeze it , then defrost it . From there we went to the Castle of Morono. The castle was very small and was actually only used as a Roman fort . But there was an amazing view from the top you could see the whole town and lots of mountains . From there we went to the city park where we would do our " service project ". A lot of people were complaining that we had to do one, but I was honestly looking forward to it . We had to pick up trash . I was in charge of picking up cigarettes with 5 other people . It wasn't actually that bad . After a while of doing that we looked up and noticed that our group was no where to be found ! We called our leader twice and got no answer . We just stayed where we were for 5 minuts then our leader came running apologizing profusely about leaving us and bought us gelato to make up for it ! We then had an hour and a half ride to cantina where we are spending the night tonight . We ate dinner at the hotel. It was chicken . Tomorrow we are off to Sicily !!
